Keep communication lines open by leveraging comments. CoConstruct organizes communication based on tasks and project details, making it easy to find and reference conversations, plus mitigate potential confusion. Depending on the location on the project, involve clients and/or trade partners. See the chart below for a layout of who you can include and where.

To share comments with either clients or trade partners, first select to add a comment. Write out the message and use one of the below methods to share with a client and/or trade partner:
- @ Mention Them = To directly target a specific individual with your comment, simply type out the “@” symbol followed by their name. The system will display a list of available names to choose from and allow you to search. Regardless of their communication settings, any direct mention automatically sends a notification.
- Visibility Icons = Use one of the visibility icons located by the comment. Turn the icon green to share the comment. To include a trade partner, additionally select their name from the drop down list.
Note: You can toggle and click the visibility icons to turn on and off the comment's visibility. Once an icon is clicked and made green, you can click it again to remove visibility, but be aware that an instant alert email may have been sent to that user.
